Press Release

This retrospective exhibition and accompanying catalogue provide the most comprehensive examination of this artist to date. With the presentation of some of his earliest works, including his masterpiece, the triptych entitled Prognostic, and never before exhibited sculpture, combined with the scholarly catalogue essays and the reprinting of the artist’s journal, we have sought to give Dawson’s work the intense scrutiny it has long deserved and bring recognition to this pioneer of Modernism.
