Concerning Expressionism: American Modernism and the German Avant-Garde represents the second in a series of exhibitions which Hollis Taggart Galleries will present over the next several years with the purpose of advancing the study of American Modernism. The first exhibition in our series was the landmark show held in the spring of 1997 entitled The Color of Modernism: The American Fauves.
